Hair Fascinator

To go along with the Modern Vintage feel of my wedding, I've also decided to wear a fascinator & I fell in love with this one below! I can't wait to see it in person!

Fascinator by Brenda's Bridal Veils here.

Veil Options

As you'll see on my next post, I've decided on a fascinator to wear, but now I'm trying to decide which type of veil to wear-- I know I want birdcage, but should I go with netting (top) or tulle (bottom)?! Which do you like better?

Both veils from Brenda's Bridal Veils sold here.

MOH Hair Accents

To separate my Maid & Matron of Honor from the other Bridesmaids, I am excited to be giving them their own hair fascinators!! They will be eggplant purple instead of black, but they are VERY similar to the below! It will look great since both my MOHs are planning to wear a side bun!

Seen & ordered from Brenda's Bridal Veils here.

Hair Options

I'm still playing around with how I should do my hair... sideswept or half updo? See the below and let me know which you like best!

Guy's Socks

FINALLY! I have been searching for men's socks with purple or eggplant in them for over 2 months!! Last night, at Express Men, I found one. It was a little like winning the lottery! P and I snagged them up as gifts for the groomsmen & ushers so that we can take cute pictures like the below!

Table Linens

I've been going back and for on what linens to use on the tables at the reception... until now. I found the perfect linens at Wedding Linens. They are a bit higher priced than other rental places, but I absolutely love this color, called Blackberry Crushed Shimmer (seen below). There are soooo many options, it should have been hard to choose; but, it wasn't. When you know, you know... kinda like how I knew with my fiance! :)

Bridal Bolero

Soooo... part of being a Winter Bride is getting to wear fun wintery extras like boleros! So I've been on the hunt for the perfect one, and wanted to pass a few along to inspire winter brides!

All bolero's seen here.

Winter Encouragement

After having discussions with several people over the last few weeks, I was getting sorta bummed about the fact that being a winter bride, I will not be able to take any photos of my fiance and I frolicking about in an open field on a warm, summer afternoon. So, I went online and looked for inspiration of things that I loved about the uniqueness of winter weddings, and I came across the perfect pick-me-up photos. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Below is the cutest pic of a winter bride and her bridesmaids on a snow filled, winter day. I love the contrast of their dresses with the white snow on the ground, and I love how the bride looks like an angel descending on the snow.
I just think this is a super cute photo of the groom & bride...
I LOVE this idea! I have been on the search for months for the perfect cashmere socks for my Fiance and the guys.... this just fuels my energy to keep looking for them!
I love the kiss with the snow falling, and the crowd in the background. So cute and so perfectly captured with the diffused lighting of a winter day.
Love this photo because it's almost exactly like what my guys will be wearing -- groomsmen in black suits with purple/plum (bow)ties with ivory calla lilies, and the groom in a black suit with a white (ivory) tie.
All photos first seen here.
